Alexander Kalsey is a director, editor, and designer working in the commercial and music video industry. Recent clients include Mucinex, Campbell's Soup, McDonalds, the Los Angeles Times, Lucas Arts, Nickelodeon, MTV, Master P, Sheryl Crow, The Hives, Regina Spektor, and the Disney Channel.


The son of a San Francisco-based documentary and industrial filmmaker, Kalsey began cutting on Avids at age 12, became a freelance web-designer at age 13, and by 18 had already received an official rejection letter from the prestigious Sundance Film Festival.


Following his passion for filmmaking, Kalsey left behind his beloved San Francisco for Los Angeles, and the University of Southern California, where he studied in the School of Cinematic Arts and the Marshall School of Business while working for a number of leading production and post companies.


Kalsey is currently available as a freelance editor and designer, highly experienced on Final Cut Pro, Avid, Smoke, After Effects, Combustion, and Shake. In his spare time, he serves on the Executive Committee of the World Dive Bar Tour's Los Angeles chapter.
